What a wonderful trip to CA! Jeff and I fell asleep every night with the doors of our balcony open, listening to the calming sounds of the ocean. We both agree that it's the most relaxed we've been...well, EVER! Thanks so much to my awesome in-laws Christen Wilson and Adam Wilson for watching our kiddos while we had our romantic getaway!
I enjoyed wearing my new dress and getting all dressed up for a fancy dinner with family.
Another highlight was our whale-watching tour! It was so calming and relaxing out on the ocean....and the breeze felt so good!
We saw sea lions almost right away!

We actually didn't end up seeing any whales but we saw hundreds of dolphins, including babies. They were so, so, so fun to watch. They jumped out of the water and liked the swim near the front of our boat!
Having all of our family there made the boat even more fun!
Afterwards, we even rode the ferris wheel. We felt like teenagers again!
The next day, we went sailing out on the bay. Jeff used to race sail boats before we were married. He's one great captain!

We pulled into the dock just in time to walk to the beach and see the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. What a sight!
Speaking of sights, this was our view from our hotel room in the Ritz. It was absolutely breath-taking!
Here's the view from our balcony, to the left. They have yoga classes here free every morning!

I loved the robes!
I loved the slippers even more...and the best part, they were FREE :) And I loved them so much, they even gave me a second pair!
We also got to go to Uncle Steve's house. It was like walking into a home in France!
When we arrived home, we even had a home-made "welcome home" sign waiting for us!
