Laura's First Birthday Party!

Our precious angel is 1 year old and it certainly has been an adventure celebrating it!  Her actual birthday was pretty terrible...Jeff and I had the stomach flu. Fortunately, Laura had a great time at her Mama Jo and Papa Joe's house.  Unfortunately, it was without her parents.  I was too weak to even hold her in the morning when she woke up.

But two days later, we were able to celebrate in typical Westover fashion!  We had all our energy back and had all our friends and family in one very wonderful place to celebrate...Chick-fil-a!  It was a great party and Laura really seemed to enjoy the whole thing!

As you can see from the picture, they put her name on the marquis...how special!

Baby girl cow even came to celebrate too!  She's a special Chick-fil-a cow just Laura's size and traveled far to make it to the party. Laura was in LOVE with her and wanted to be put down so that she could hug her...she didn't want to let go!  The Baby Girl cow even gave Laura her own mini-moo as a gift :)

Pure adoration!

Laura really did a great job opening all of her gifts. She actually tore the paper on each gift and wanted to PLAY with EVERY SINGLE GIFT!  It was a pretty mean trick when Mommy and Daddy tried to take the gift away so that she could open up another one!
Here she is reading a book before we could move on to the next gift!

Laura loves her stroller...it fits her bear just right!

This one's a little blurry but you can see her "tearing" in action!

I made this cake myself.  I even made a custom cow with a special "birthday sign" to stand on the front of the plate.  The plate was actually hand-painted at a ceramic store by myself as well!

Laura enjoys her own personal cupcake.

She goes back for seconds and thirds and forths...

Here's the whole party gang! Thanks to everyone who came out!  You all mean the world to us!

We had a great time at the party, glad we could make it. Can't believe she's one already!
