October Fun :)

I think I've decided that October is my new favorite month of the year!  There are so many FREE festivities for families to enjoy the fall season and have some great family time!  All together, we attended EIGHT different events in the last week of October...SO much fun!

Of course, the big event was treat-or-treating for the first time in our neighborhood. Laura LOVED it!  She hasn't learned to say "trick-or-treat" yet but she DID say "please" and "thank you" at each and every house!  She really looked forward to pushing the "button" (door bell) at every house and kept saying "more," indicating that she wanted to go to another house!  She also loved waiting for the kiddos to come to our house. She just stood in the hallway with a big, goofy grin saying "somebody come...push the button!"

Here we are at Chick-fil-a's Halloween party. Laura got to decorate her very own pumpkin with stickers that looked like the eyes, nose, mouth, etc.  This was WAY too entertaining!!!

After her nap, on the same day, we went to the Disney Store party.  Laura enjoyed the character parade, where all the kiddos marched in a line with their Disney costumes around the store. They also danced to some music and won some prizes.  She was THRILLED to see her good friends Donald and Daisy there...as you can see, she's got 3 Donald's and a Daisy in her arms...there's no smile because she's concentrating too hard on dancing with them :)

Laura also danced the night away at a Mr. Richard concert at Chick-fil-a.  He started off the concert with her favorite song, dedicated personally to her...the "cheese" song!  Laura was all giggles dancing with the cow.  Of course, no smile here...she wasn't too happy when she had to turn around AWAY from the cow to pose!

Our church fall festival was also tons of fun. The big hit was the toddler bounce house. It was literally an inflatable wonderland. Laura could have spent HOURS there...we had to pry her away to try to get her to play the other games!

We also got to attend "Halloween Howl" at Rollins College. The best part, of course, was spending time walking around the campus with Aunt Amanda :)

On another note, this month was also big because Laura started sleeping in her BIG GIRL BED!!! We converted her crib to the toddler setting on October 29th. She's adjusting really well and LOVES the access to her babies throughout the day! She actually said "happy, happy" as Jeff was converting it :)

Laura also got her "choo choo" this month...the most FUN car EVER!  She picked it out herself at a garage sale. Of course, Mega Moo had to get a ride too.

Looks like you've been having a lot of fun and getting good use out of the Snow White costume! The pic from Sears is perfect! Looking forward to Thanksgiving.
