Christmas and Utah

What an exciting month December has been! Laura gets so excited about everything these days...which made Christmas so much fun! The morning was filled with lots of "wow's" and "cool's!" Her big surprise was her kitchen. She wasn't sure what the giant thing in her living room was at first but she warmed up fast! She loves to "wash" her hands and cook things on the "hot" burner (complete with lights and sounds). Laura wore her apron all morning and was happy to see that Coco the bear had a matching one too!

I managed to get this shot with everyone in their Minnie Mouse themed red polka dots :)

But, the biggest surprise of all came the day after Christmas when we celebrated Christmas with my family. Stacy managed to find and refurbish my old doll bed...complete with a tiny quilt for Laura's babies and a bigger one for Laura! It was an instant hit...although, Laura thinks the bed fits HER better than her babies most days :)

We also had a WONDERFUL time in Utah. Laura loves the cold weather and the snow. She was too little to take on the mountain (need to be 4) but we were able to pull her around on the tubes on the flat ground for free :) Jeff pulled her around for over an hour...the entire time, she had a HUGE grin on her face and kept saying "more, more...again!"

Laura also loved making her very own snowman. The second it was done, it got a huge hug and kiss from Laura. They are the best of friends :)

The whole family loves the snowman!

Jeff and I had tons of fun skiing this year. On the first day of skiing, I think it was the prettiest day I've ever seen on the mountains...just breath-taking!

Stacy, Adam, Philip, and Amanda also joined us!

We also enjoyed eating out at lots of fun restaurants with the family. Here we are all dressed up for the seafood buffet :)
