One year ago, our family was blessed with our amazingly sweet and incredibly precious Emily Jo! She has truly enriched our lives and it's been a joy to see her grow over the year. Emily is so smart. She already tries to "talk" on her cell phone, brush her hair, and cook in her play kitchen. She says Mama, Dada, hi, and bye. Emily loves anything musical. She can play the kazoo, recorder, xylophone, and more! My favorite part of the day is when she sits in my lap and we read. I think I could read for hours with her. She turns the pages with such joy and is so attentive for each and every story. Emily loves her sister most of all and will follow her anywhere. Good thing that she has an incredible big sister to look up to! She is getting soooo close to walking. Before I can blink my eyes, the girls are going to be playing chase all over the house!

On the Saturday before her birthday, we had a pool party to celebrate our sweet Emily.
