Two years ago, my life changed in a wonderful way. A sweetness and joy, beyond anything I could have ever dreamed, entered our lives as Emily joined our family and made her debut in this world. Ever since that moment, each day has been just a little bit sweeter, more joyous, and more wonderful!
We had a wonderful time celebrating Emily this past week. On Saturday, we celebrated her with a pool-themed family party.
On her actual birthday, we had a wonderful little party with friends. Thanks to my amazing friend, Kathleen, who transformed her home into a "castle," the girls had a wonderful time a their princess-themed ball.
The girls began their party, literally "having a ball" in the ball pit.
They also danced the afternoon away to princess music. Emily had on the perfect outfit for all the twirling she did :)
There was even themed food including "Aurora's Bed of Lettuce," "Sofia's Royal Jewels," "Belle's Books," "Snow White's Diamonds," and "Ariel's Dinglehoppers!"
The girls even had wands and tiaras to decorate with princess stickers!
Plus, they played with home-made play-dough and colored pictures of Sofia. Fun!
