our first nursery room project!

Thanks to the wonderful instruction by my Memom, our first nursery project is done! I used the technique of "one stroke painting" to create the flowers and leaves on the fan. We originally got the idea for the fan because this particular kids fan comes with interchangeable blades you can purchase for an additional $30 each. When we saw the flower blades, we figured we could do better... and wa la...we did :) We've decided to add chair railing to the room with the lightest of light pink on top and a slightly darker pink on bottom. I think it'll look really good with the fan. We're also going to add crown molding. Anyhoo, here's the fan for now...you'll have to wait several more weeks if you want to see those pink walls.... One project at a time!
